My work is about the body, gender expression and vulnerability. I use myself to demonstrate physical tensions, places between movement and stillness. Where the analytical and emotional can fail us, the body reminds us of what we are doing, what we can do and where we are.
All of my subject matter relates to the corporeal, from cans of beer to ape mothers with their children. I am interested in how the body processes, and how we are connected to the world through our physical languages and evolutionary biology.
